paintings

  • Morning is when certainty wears off — when what felt clear the night before turns out not to be. These paintings live in that gap. A figure leaning in, hands raised, a blade held low, a body pressing in from the edge of the frame. Some I find, some I shoot, some are just screenshots — and I work them all by hand until the embrace and the threat stop reading as separate things. What you decide you're seeing says as much about you as the painting.
