Married — Sean Foley

One person this time. The dress still on, one leg already out of it, the chair red as the occasion. She looks at you the way you look at a photographer who stayed too long.

The crown is bigger than she is — flowers, jewels, chandelier, the whole day still attached to her head. The bouquet has gone to ornament, a globe of pattern nobody caught. The dress drips.

Married. Not the wedding — the state. Everything in this series takes two. This one is what it looks like from the lens of the other. Still two, just one seeing the other.
